Allies who support 2SLGBTQIA+ Torontonians

Toronto Pflag is one of the city’s largest networks for parents and allies of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Through support groups, workshops, consultation, and advocacy, we’ve been helping keep families together for more than 50 years.

From our community

I want to show the 2SLGBTQIA+ community that there is love and support for them, especially during a time when we’re losing so much of the progress we’ve made. I’m proud of the work we do and I’m grateful for the acceptance and friendships I’ve found for myself within the Toronto Pflag family.
— Volunteer
I feel so fortunate that a friend recommended Toronto Pflag when my daughter first came out. We attended a support meeting and found care, connection, and community. We learned a lot about how to support our daughter but also made our own new friends.
— Support meeting member
Toronto Pflag’s central themes are love, respect, and support, and that resonates with me. So fast forward 10+ years, and I’m still volunteering with Toronto Pflag, and paying it forward by helping other parents who are newer to their journeys with their kids.
